Hello, my name is Shadia. At school I like to learn English. I like drawing pictures and playing skipping with my friends. My favourite food is rice and beans. When I grow up, I want to be a Nurse.

History

Shadia lives with her single father and paternal grandmother. Shadia’s mother passed away in childbirth. Shadia’s father is a Boda Driver (motor bike taxi) and only earns a small income. He is unable to afford school fees for Shadia.

Shadia, like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly support will enable Shadia to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with texts books, have her exam fees covered and receive a healthy school lunch. Your monthly sponsorship also ensures that if required, Shadia will receive medical care. Most importantly, Shadia will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
