Hello, my name is Bashirah. I enjoy playing with building blocks at school. My favourite animal is the dog. I like to eat rice and peas. Yellow is my favourite colour and I like colouring pictures. I want to become a doctor when I grow up.
History
Bashirah lives with her parents in a mud brick house in Kasubi. Bashirah’s father is a luggage porter in the city which is an unstable and low income job. He struggles to provide for the family’s basic needs including school fees for Bashirah. Your support through child sponsorship will change Bashirah’s life and help her family.
Bashirah like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Bashirah to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Bashirah will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
