Hello, my name is Doreen. My favorite animal is the dog. I like playing with baby dolls and coloring pictures at school. I love the color orange and I like to eat rice and fish. When I grow up I think I would like to be a teacher.
History
Doreen lives with her widowed mother and sister Angel. They live in a one-roomed house. Angel’s mother sells tea and porridge at a roadside market stall. This family struggles to meet their basic needs due to their poor income and cannot afford school fees. Your support through child sponsorship will change Doreen’s life and help her family
Doreen like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Doreen to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Doreen will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
