Hello, my name is Fortunate. I like playing jump rope with my friends. I enjoy eating rice and meat. At school, I like drawing pictures and my favorite colour is white. If I were to pick my animal, it would be a cow. When I grow up, I would like to be a nurse.
History
Fortunate lives with her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers in a one roomed grass thatched hut. This family struggles toprovide basic needs for their children cannot afford school fees. They are subsistence farmers and grow their own food. Your support through child sponsorship will change Fortunate’s life and help her family.
Fortunate like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Fortunate to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Fortunate will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
