Hello, my name is Gift. I love to read books and learn English. My favourite animal is a cow and I like the colour yellow. I like to play netball with my friends. When I grow up, I would like to become a nurse.
History:
Gift is a vulnerable child, living with her single mother and two brothers: Daniel and David. Gift’s mother earns a small income doing laundry work but it is not enough to provide the basic needs of her family. Your support through child sponsorship will change Gift’s life and help her family.
Gift, like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Gift to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with text books and have her exam fees covered. She will also receive a healthy school lunch every day. Your monthly sponsorship also ensures that if required, Gift will receive medical care. More importantly, Gift will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
