Hello, my name is Jovan. I like playing football with my friends. I enjoy eating posho and peas. At school I like counting numbers and my favorite colour is blue. If I were to pick my favourite animal, it would be a dog. When I grow up, I would like to be a teacher.
History
Jovan lives with his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers in a one roomed grass thatched hut. His parents do causal jobs and they are subsistence farmers. This family struggles to provide basic needs for their children especially school fees. Your support through child sponsorship will change to Jovan’s life and help his family.
Jovan like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Jovan to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have his exam fees covered. He will also receive a healthy school lunch each day and if required he will receive medical care. More importantly, Jovan will receive an education which gives him hope for a brighter future.
