Hello, my name is Kalungi. I like to eat rice and meat. At school I like colouring pictures and my best colour is green. My favourite animal is a cow and I like playing with building blocks. I want to become a teacher when I grow up.
History
Kalungi lives with his mother and siblings. He has two brothers, Joseph and Steven and a sister called Rose. Kalungi’s mother does laundry for a very small income so she struggles to provide for the family’s basic needs. Your support through child sponsorship will change Kalungi’s life and help his family.
Kalungi like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Kalungi to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have his exam fees covered. He will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required he will receive medical care. More importantly, Kalungi will receive an education which gives him hope for a brighter future.
