History:
Mary is a vulnerable child living with her single mother and elderly grandfather. There are 5 other grandchildren living in this home. Mary’s mother does laundry to earn a living, while grandfather works as a cleaner. The family struggles with provision of their basic needs because of their inadequate income. Your support through child sponsorship will change Mary’s life and help her family.
Mary like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Mary to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Mary will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
