Hello, my name is Mary. I like to eat rice and fish. At school I like to colour pictures and my favourite colour is red. I think the elephant is the best animal in Uganda. I like to play with dolls. I want to become a nurse when I grow up.
History
Mary lives with both of her parents in a one roomed house in Kasubi. They cook and sell cassava as a source of income. This family struggles with provision of their basic needs due to their very low income. Your support through child sponsorship will change Mary’s life and help her family.
Mary like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Mary to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Mary will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
