Hello, my name is Precious. I like playing with dolls. I enjoy eating posho and meat. At school I like counting numbers and my favorite colour is blue. If I were to pick my favorite animal it would be a pig. When I grow up I would like to be a Nurse.
History
Precious lives with both her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister in a one roomed grass thatched hut. Her parents have no formal job but do subsistence farming on a small piece of land to feed their children. This family struggles to provide basic needs for their children and cannot afford to provide school fees. Your support through child sponsorship will change Precious’s life and help her family.
Precious like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Precious to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Precious will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
