Hello, my name is Shadia. My favourite animal is a dog. I like to play with dolls. I enjoy eating rice, cassava and beans. Red is my favourite colour and I like to colour pictures. I want to become a doctor when I grow up.
History
Shadia lives with her mother and her sister, Cindy. They live in a one roomed house in Kasubi. Her mother sells green vegetables at the local market to earn a living but she struggles to provide the basic needs of her family on a low income. Your support through child sponsorship will change her life and help her family.
Shadia like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Shadia to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with textbooks and have her exam fees covered. She will eat a healthy school lunch each day and if required she will receive medical care. More importantly, Shadia will receive an education which gives her hope for a brighter future.
