Hello, my name is Edirisa. My favourite colour is yellow. Rabbits are my favourite animals and I enjoy eating green banana and groundnuts. I love to play soccer and matching is my best subject. When I grow up, I would like to become an electrical engineer.
History
Edirisa is a vulnerable child living with his single mother and two siblings: Hasifa, and Asia in a one roomed house. His dad abandoned the family & they were left in the care of their mum who struggles to provide for her children’s basic needs. She earns a small income from doing laundry. Your support through child sponsorship will help change Edirisa’s life.
Edirisa, like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Edirisa to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with text books and have his exam fees covered. He will also receive a healthy school lunch every day. Your monthly sponsorship also ensures that if required, Edirisa will receive medical care. More importantly, Edirisa will receive an education which gives him hope for a brighter future.
