Hello, my name is Ivan. I like the colour black and a cow is my favourite animal. Skipping is my best game that I play at home. I love colouring pictures as a subject. Green bananas and beef are my favourite food. When I grow up, I would like to become a teacher so that I can teach children.
History
Ivan is a vulnerable child living with his parents and his sibling Dinah in a one roomed house. Ivan’s father has no stable source of income as he struggles to sell fruit in the local market. The small income he generates is inadequate to provide all the basic needs for his family. Your support through child sponsorship will help change Ivan’s life and his family situation.
Ivan, like so many children in Uganda, lives in extreme poverty. Your monthly contribution will enable Ivan to attend school, be fitted with a uniform, supplied with text books and have his exam fees covered. He will also receive a healthy school lunch every day. Your monthly sponsorship also ensures that if required, Ivan will receive medical care. More importantly, Ivan will receive an education which gives him hope for a brighter future.
